The Jordan Boyd Celebrity Hockey Challenge

Supporting the prevention of sudden death from cardiac arrest at the QEII’s Inherited Heart Disease Clinic.

2018 marks the Fifth Annual Jordan Boyd Celebrity Hockey Challenge, and it’s going to be our biggest year yet. We’re pulling out all the stops for the event this year and bringing even more Canadian hockey-talent to our All-Star line-up.

Honour Jordan’s Legacy.

Jordan Boyd was a 16 year old boy with a vibrant personality and a passion for hockey. Without warning, Jordan’s life came to an end on August 12, 2013, after he collapsed while attending the hockey training camp of the Acadia-Bathurst Titan. It was later determined that Jordan had an undiagnosed heart condition called Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricle Cardiomyopathy (ARVC).

Help us advance heart health care for Atlantic Canadians by supporting the prevention of sudden death by cardiac arrest. One hundred per cent of net proceeds from this tournament support the QEII’s Inherited Heart Disease Clinic, and help QEII leaders continue their pursuit to save lives through world-leading research and innovation so that no other families experience this tragedy.

Join the roster.

Join us at the Dartmouth 4 Pad on July 28, 2018 as we honour Jordan by playing the sport he loved.

Teams are filling up quickly! Don’t miss your chance to play hockey alongside professional hockey players, while giving back to heart health in your region.
