    e-Mental Health

Expanding online mental health tools and treatments for all Nova Scotians.

Access to e-mental health tools is greater than ever before in Nova Scotia thanks to generous donors.

During the 30-day Mindwell Challenge, I experienced more moments of contentment and joy as a result of being present, focusing on what is going well and being less reactive. This has been an incredibly powerful yet simple practice. My wellness is in a positive place – thanks to mindfulness, moving more and connecting with others.”

– Mary, Mindwell participant

E-mental health is continuing to evolve in Nova Scotia, offering more tools to people when and where they need support. Here are some of the key benefits of e-mental health:

Remove location barriers and help close treatment gaps
Reduce wait times by offering an immediate solution that can be accessed at home for people with mild to moderate symptoms.
Provide more solutions to more Nova Scotians by offering e-mental health tools that are proven to be as effective as in-person therapy for some common disorders.
Offer patient anonymity for those who want it by providing online access that protects confidentiality.

If you or a loved one needs help now, the Provincial Mental Health and Addictions crisis line is always available at 1 888 429 8167.
