What is Workin' to Win?

With a payroll deduction of $10 per pay ($5 per week), participating staff are entered into a weekly draw for a $1,000 cash-prize.

Participants support important QEII initiatives like Comfort and Care grants, which fund projects that typically would not receive funding from the health centre's capital or operating budgets. Together, they are improving the patient experience by bringing blanket warmers, chairs, books, music, exercise bikes and more to the bedsides of patients at the QEII.

Thanks to the generosity of thousands of Nova Scotians, countless patients will benefit for years to come.

Draws occur by Tuesday each week, at QEII Foundation office, 5657 Spring Garden Road. Winner is notified by phone and their name is added to the winner section of the website by Friday. Additional incentive draws may occur at any time throughout the year. Odds are variable based on number of entries. Multiple entries per person, per week, are not permitted. The cost of each lottery ballot is $5 per week, payable in advance, via biweekly payroll deduction. Only ballots confirmed as paid by NSHA will be entered in the weekly draw. Once registered, participation is ongoing unless otherwise cancelled.
