We are pleased to share our 2023-2024 Annual Report, highlighting the incredible impact donors have on health care through the QEII Health Sciences Centre.

Donor support paired with the remarkable innovation and care of QEII physicians and healthcare teams is a powerful combination, providing the best care to patients and their families.

Below are some highlights from the past year:

  • $8.5-million campaign completed for Ethos technology with HyperSight for cancer care
  • $200,000 granted to QEII research through the Innovation Catalyst Fund
  • $3-million campaign completed for MAZOR X spinal robot
  • $2.1 million to establish Atlantic Canada’s first CAR-T therapy lab at the QEII
  • $36,500 raised for mental health support for cancer care through the first-ever Hockey for Hope community fundraiser
  • $1.05 million raised for a neurological robotics system
  • $171,000 reached to expand mental health support through Text4Support

It never ceases to amaze me what the donor community makes possible. Tackling the challenges in the healthcare system is not an easy task. That’s why donors are invaluable. Philanthropy is the key to unlocking opportunities within the healthcare system that otherwise would not be possible.

– Susan Mullin, president & CEO, QEII Foundation
