Mirna Gerges is a QEII Foundation Diversity in Health Care Bursary recipient.
Born in Abu Dhabi, UAE to Egyptian parents, Mirna moved to Canada when she was 10 years old. Mirna recently completed her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and says this bursary can empower students who feel systemically disadvantaged, and feels it is an incredible stepping stone towards success.
