The QEII Patient Essentials Fund puts gift cards for gas, hospital parking, groceries and personal care items into the hands of patients.

The QEII Patient Essentials Fund wouldn’t be possible without healthcare professionals and staff who see patients’ needs firsthand. Helen Chan, a staff chaplain in Spiritual and Religious Care at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, has provided dozens of gift cards to patients.
