REVOLUTIONIZING TREATMENT AND CARE FOR CANCER PATIENTS IN ATLANTIC CANADA

Our BMO Ride community is no stranger to transforming local cancer care. Since 2015, BMO Ride for Cancer has raised more than $13 million net (and counting!) for cancer-fighting technology, equipment and spaces – impacting nearly every patient who undergoes cancer treatment at the QEII Health Sciences Centre.

Transforming cancer care

“When I started participating in BMO Ride for Cancer six years ago, I thought the event proceeds might one day impact someone I know — I never imagined that it would eventually be me. 

In December 2022 at 41 years old, I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Every dose of chemotherapy I received was made in the QEII’s Cancer Therapy Prep Lab. I’ve seen firsthand the direct impact this event has on patients like me.”
