Whether you’re planning for retirement or life’s next big milestone, these resources can help if you’re updating your will and considering a charitable gift:

A gift in your will could help you leave a larger gift than might be possible during your lifetime. It may not always be a comfortable or easy conversation around the dinner table, but making a gift in your will is as easy as including a paragraph for a fixed amount or a percentage of your estate when you write or update your will.

We can help by providing the necessary wording your lawyer can put into proper legal form. Your estate will receive a valuable tax credit that will reduce or, in many cases, eliminate income taxes due to your estate.

You can direct your gift to support a care area that is meaningful to you, or to help QEII teams address the greatest frontline needs. You can even make a gift in your will in honour or memory of someone close to you – like your parents or grandparents – ensuring their legacy can live on through yours.
